You've Been Managing Symptoms, Now Experience Relief

You deserve more than temporary symptom relief. For over a third of people, conventional antidepressants don't provide lasting improvement, in part because they miss key brain systems involved in depression and mental disress. Psycle Health connects you with interventional psychiatry clinics near you offering SPV and IV Keta, two FDA-backed alternatives that engage these systems. A free evaluation matches you with the path that's right for you.

Why these treatments

What most antidepressants can’t do.

SPV and Keta work through entirely different pathways than SSRIs. That's why they help people who cannot find relief from regular treatments.

Both treatments work in hours and days, not months

Antidepressants force a 1 to 4+ week waiting game. SPV can produce measurable symptom relief within 24 hours. IV Keta often produces measurable effects within 24-72 hours.

Reduced risk of sexual dysfunction

Up to 70% of SSRI and SNRI users experience sexual side effects, including reduced sensation and libido loss. This drops to below 1% reported for SPV, and zero for TMS.

They act on multiple levels, not just your serotonin system

IV Keta and SPV both act on the glutamate system, a different pathway than SSRIs. SPV acts on NMDA glutamate receptors to trigger synaptogenesis: your brain literally rebuilds healthy connections.

SPV and Keta can work when first- and second-line treatments fail

IV Keta shows roughly 70% response rates in published trials. SPV achieves around 65%. The highest response rate estimated for regular antidepressants is 46%.

No weight gain. No metabolic roulette

Both treatments avoid the systemic physical and energetic side effects of daily oral antidepressants. SPV's transient side effects resolve within hours of each session.

You'll always start with a clear treatment pathway

Many patients stay on antidepressants indefinitely, whereas SPV and Keta both follow structured in-clinic induction protocols, often over a few weeks, with maintenance schedules personalized by your psychiatrist.

What we offer

Two routes to thriving via your glutamate pathways.

SPV · FDA-approved

A nasal spray that can work fast.

SPV is the FDA-approved nasal spray version, taken in-clinic with two hours of monitoring. In the original studies, effects on depression were measurable within 24 hours. • FDA-approved since 2019 • In-clinic, 2-hour visit • Twice weekly × 4 weeks, then possible maintenance sessions

IV Keta · Off-label

The original molecule, delivered in-clinic.

IV Keta acts on the same glutamate pathway as SPV, delivered as a 40-minute infusion in-clinic. Often a fit when other treatments aren't, or when faster relief is needed. Used off-label for treatment-resistant depression. • Used off-label since the 2000s • ~40 min IV infusion in-clinic • Typically 6 sessions over 2 - 3 weeks

You don't need to choose between SPV and IV Keta today. Your psychiatrist will help you explore each approach and find the right option during your free evaluation, based on your history and your goals.

Insurance & cost

We'll handle the paperwork & process, together.

SPV is covered by most major commercial insurance plans and IV Keta can be covered by Medicare for adults whose depression hasn't responded to medication. Each one needs its own prior authorization. Once we've got the green light from the psychiatrist, Psycle Health and your partner clinic will handle the paperwork for whichever path you choose. We check your benefits, prepare the approval request, and tell you exactly what your out-of-pocket cost will look like before you start. At no charge.

In their words.

Destiny

"This treatment has changed my life. I have really seen the difference and so has my family. After years of struggling, I'm finally off all of my psychiatric medications that were causing more harm than any good they were providing. I'm so grateful I took a risk and clicked the facebook ad I saw!"

Destiny, Age 38

Mike

"I didn't know it was possible for me to receive something for my TRD. I always thought something was wrong with me or I was taking the medication wrong. I’m in tears knowing there’s something out there for me to try to be happy again."

Mike, Age 32

Christina

"I literally could cry right now, I'm so excited to just try and see if SPV Therapy works. I'm just so sick of nothing working; it sucks, and it's hard to get people to understand what you're going through because they just don't. Thank you so so so much, I appreciate you, you might've just changed my life."

Christina, Age 35

Gavin

"I've been suffering for so many years. I'm sorry, I don't mean to get emotional I just can't remember what it feels like to be motivated or inspired and this treatment sounds hopeful. I'm so grateful I answered the phone."

Gavin, Age 29

Doug M.

"I sat in that chair for an hour and came out with thirty years of junk cleared out of my head. That, to me, was a miracle. I haven't felt this good in probably three decades. It works. You can go from feeling like trash to feeling normal in the span of two hours. If you're on the fence, don't be. They'll treat you well, and you'll feel amazing when you leave."

Doug M.

Ella

"I've been dealing with this for so long and nothing has ever worked. Hearing that there's something that can actually help, and fast, I don't know, it just makes me feel like maybe things can actually get better. This is the first time I've felt hopeful in a long time."

Frequently asked questions about the evaluation.

A licensed psychiatrist at the partner clinic nearest you reviews your antidepressant history, your current symptoms, and any safety factors. Together you'll discuss whether SPV, Keta, or another path is the best fit. This dedicated evaluation conversation is the right place to decide, not a form on a website. Psycle Health verifies your insurance for free in parallel to your considered choice(s).

No. The evaluation is the perfect time to consider this choice further. Your psychiatrist recommends a path towards SPV or IV Keta based on your history, your goals, and your safety profile. Many patients qualify for more than one option; some only fit one. Considering your options together is what the initial clinical conversation is for.

About 45 - 60 minutes for the clinical visit, plus a brief intake call beforehand to verify your insurance details and gather records. Most patients leave the evaluation with a clear next step towards SPV or IV Keta, and a starting date if they want to proceed.

Yes. The partner clinic doesn't charge for the initial consultation. Insurance verification through Psycle Health is also free. And there's no obligation to start SPV or Keta treatment.

SPV (esketamine) is an FDA-approved nasal spray for adults whose depression hasn't responded to at least two oral antidepressants. It works on your glutamate system, can produce measurable effects within 24 hours, and is taken in-clinic with two hours of monitoring afterward. You'll be asked to arrange a ride home, and be able to drive again the next day.

Keta is the original molecule from which SPV is derived, administered via IV. It is delivered as a 40-minute intravenous infusion in the clinic, and you can go home the same day. Used off-label for treatment-resistant depression, it acts on the glutamate pathway. A typical induction series is six infusions over 2-3 weeks. Because it is off-label, insurance coverage varies.

Most major commercial plans and Medicare cover SPV, and it can also be possible to access IV Keta with insurance with prior authorization. Psycle Health and the partner clinic handle the paperwork for whichever path you and your psychiatrist choose, at no cost.

We'll tell you honestly and walk you through alternative approaches. If a different path is right for you, such as non-invasive, no medication approach like TMS, we'll point you to it. If it's possible that any of these approaches might be right for you in the future, e.g. after pregnancy is over, we'll arrange a future free consultation.

Fill out the form. A Psycle Health care coordinator calls within 24 hours to verify your insurance and book the evaluation with the clinic nearest you. From form to evaluation is usually under a week, with treatment for the earliest possible appointment following a successful evaluation.

You haven't run out of options. You may just not have found the right ones yet.

Schedule a free call. Psycle will verify your insurance and talk through your history. And together with a psychiatrist, we'll help you map a real next step.
